Comments:
My shin is starting to hurt again. I know it could be the start of another stress fracture, so I'm going to take some time off and try to schedule an MRI.

It will heal, and I will do what I can to make it stronger. It must have gotten weak during my time off and wasn't able to handle the stresses of 40 miles a week. Hopefully I won't be set back any more than 2-3 weeks.

I'm not worried, if anything, this could help me peak when I want to and transition into track much better. If I can top off at 50 miles a week this season, I know I can run solidly. I'll ask my body if it can do more than that when the time comes.
