I saw some great efforts out there! This wasn't an easy workout, but it is one that if you break it down and take it four at a time (looking to incrementally increase the speed within the 4x400M set) then the 12x400M is not quite as daunting a proposition. And although I heard some grumbling about the incline on the grass, I rather liked it -- it's like Rusty says about tricking your body into "thinking" it's relaxed. . . I try to trick myself into liking inclines or grass or anything else that I may find discouraging. Pretty soon I actually really start to like those difficulties and can pride myself as a hill runner, etc.
