Weather: fairly cool; cloudy
Comments:
I felt surprisingly good for a while on this workout - I think about 80% had to do with the weather. My IT band still hurt, but at least I wasn't completely dehydrated WHILE it hurt. It's also easier when you're running by yourself - you have to depend on you to push you, and no one else. Plus you don't have to worry about their pace, you can run your own. Anyway, while in a lot of pain, I felt happy about this workout.
3 x 1800 - Goal time 7:20:
1st - 6:55
2nd - 6:54
3rd - 6:50
The last one killed. It was easily as bad as it's hurt in any race I've run. I think I'll have to take my next A1s much easier, but it still feels good to know that I am improving, even a little bit. After so long of having no improvement at all, I'll take what I can get.
