Literally passed out when I got home because I was so exhausted, woke up to my phone vibrating at 5:45PM. In a stupor I threw on some running shorts without drinking any water before hand, bad idea. I kept the pace super easy to start with. I felt like I was still sleeping. I ran the first 20 minutes of the run breathing only through my nose. Deep, long breathes. Yoga has helped a lot to keep me much more in tune with my breathing. Had to deuce really bad from the start but I held it for 5 miles until I got to Columbia Parkway. Felt a lot better after that. I finally arrived to my first drinking fountain at Demming heights, I think I drank way too much water here. 10 minutes after this my stomach felt like it had been stabbed with a knife. I had to walk/jog for about a mile. Keeling over myself. I have never had a stomach cramp that bad before. It was odd because my core is pretty toned right now. Things got progressively better in the last mile though. I think it was just dehydration. I wasn't in my office much today at work and since I'm not allowed to have any food or drink in the lab, it becomes difficult to hydrate, especially after lunch.

My quads were trashed today, it felt like someone had repeatedly punched them while I was sleeping last night. I'm fairly certain that it was from Thursday's yoga. There were a lot of chair poses and chair pose derivatives that hammer those pretty hard. All of this was shame because the weather was pretty great for a run for once. 80, 40% humidity, sunny with a nice breeze. Haven't been getting many days like that recently. Turds.
