Old UWL Routine

September 12, 2008 (Morning)

Exercise Type: Run

Weather: low 60s, overcast

Comments:
I woke up after a great night's sleep to find that, incredibly, Dan had woken before me to organize the stuff. I packed up my stuff, and the two of us headed to campus to consolidate pictures before parting ways.

After working on the pics for a while, I hit up the Rec Center. After dropping off some stuff inside, I decided to slog jog a few miles.

The run went pretty well, running very easy along the Girl Scout route and the rabbit trails. No pain stabs whatsoever; if anything, some transient soreness at the base of the tendon, but that's it.

Back at the Rec, I snuck into the weight center to lift weights "for real" for the first time since May, then heading upstairs for a circuit. I weighed in in the locker room and saw 159. OK, I guess, but I expected better for how hard I worked the past week (and, relatively, how "little" I ate).

Headed home after that. Heel was a bit sketchy in the PM, with some "buzzing" while sitting -- like it used to in the spring. Still not sure what that mechanism is...
