Exercise Type: Run
Weather: Humid. It should never be this humid at 8 in the morning
Comments:
Towpath today for an abreviated long run. Don't really want to talk about it. Surfice it to say that this was my worst run this summer. The first 7 I just felt like something wasn't right. It just got worse from there. At about 6 miles to go I got a real bad cramp in my right abdominal wall. I pushed through it while slowing down untill about 2.5 miles later I just couldn't take it anymore and had to walk about a quarter of a mile before limping the little more than 3 miles back to my car. In addition I was severally dehydrated and had a splitting headache. Not a good combination. What I'm taking from this is that even with all that I was still able to run 7:10 pace which shows how far I've come. At the begining of this summer if I'd have averaged 7:10 a mile for 14 I'd haev been extatic. Now I'm dissapointed and think thats too slow for even 2 miles.
