UWRF 5K repeats workout

Exercise Type: Run

Weather: 70s, near-100% humidity

Comments:
3x 5K workout. It was HUMID AS HELL: Foggy and “misting” = raining humidity. Despite that, the workout went really well. Legs/stride felt pretty good, wasn’t TOO boiling (during), and the breathing was shockingly controlled. Got out wayyy too hard on the first one, but settled in well the rest of the way:

#1: 5:24, 10:56 = 17:21 (5:35/mi)
#2: 5:37, 11:15 = 17:36 (5:39/mi)
#3: 5:34, 11:11 = 17:33 (5:39/mi)

I didn’t warm up on the course, so I didn’t see there was construction on one part, so I was running around it in the grass on that first one. Otherwise it was fine. 3min jog/walk rest (+fluid) between reps.
