Labor Day Workout

Exercise Type: Run

Weather: Nice day to run down at the towpath, cooler than it was when I ran there this summer

Comments:
Ran a progression style long run today for the workout. Felt pretty good doing it. Got a good aroebic stymilus while kinda getting a long run in too. I'll probably do another one on Sunday so my mileage will probably be high this week but thats okay since we don't have another meet for 3 weeks.
Ran 16 today. The first 5 were easy and conversational. The second 5 were kinda harder but still conversational. Kinda around my summer grove pace. The last five we kinda eased into tempo pace and finished with a last mile that was faster than tempo pace which I was real happy about. I could definitly feel the threshold pace during this run. I knew if push came to shove I could have gone faster but I was still working hard at that limit which was good.

Splits from easy section: 15:08, 7:21, 7:28, 7:05 (short).

Splits from the summer grove pace part: 7:18(long), 6:23, 6:40, 6:25, 7:35(long).

Splits from tempo part: 6:04(short), 5:59, 5:41, 5:41, 5:30

Veale was closed today so I'll have to get my lifts in on Tuesday/Thursday/some weekend day
Misc streaching after the run. Extra's were not good these last 2 days:(
