Exercise Type: Swim
Comments:
In the pool again. Did a warm up, wkt #1, 15 deep water jog, and then wkt #2. Went in to the deep end and warmed up a little bit, then did 4x4 laps VO2 underwater swimming. That part was very intense, and I was definitely out of breath. Sore after the swimming. Went back up, did hips and back strength, and some stretching and rolling (not very extensive unfortunately). forgot to do abs too. Ice bath with Thea and Meghan. Two ice baths in two days makes a difference.
Talked to coach. I really need to talk to Darrell to see if my orthotics are in fact helping. I might also bite the bullet and go see Gordon at UH. This has been going on too long. Pushing the milage up this week. The soreness is a Good thing. Means I am working the area that was atrophied. 20 miles in 5 days. Might start running tuesday morning, and taking thursday and sunday off.
