Comments:
I was hoping to do a workout today since I missed out early in the week, but the calves were a bit sketchy yet. However, they felt really good on the initial segment of the run, so I went for it.
The Carson segment was pretty uptempo, even though my legs were a bit stiff from yesterday's bike ride.
The pickups went pretty rough. I felt really clunky on all three and they seemed damn slow. I took only a minute's rest, so that explains some of it, but let's face it: I am OUT OF SHAPE. This is my first real interval-style workout since mid-February, and I haven't done consistent weekly workouts since 2006! It's gonna be a long road...
The calves and heels felt fine, though on the cooldown and post-run they began to tighten. After driving to mom's for the night, the feet and heels ached bad enough to make me ice at 0100 before bed. That helped...
