something about this race didnt feel like a race, but pretty much it was a fast course. i had a gatorade "pre-game fuel" thing about 50 minutes before the race just for the fun of it. really sore and tight. we did a course jog as our warmup. in the race, i started out back a little but caught up to the top pack pretty quickly. most of the race i was pretty comfortable. i built up speed as i went, and kicked at the end, but it felt like more of a workout than a race, and i think i could have gotten a much better time if it was needed in order to win the race, but we all sortof cruised in when we saw that we were winning. im pretty happy with it though. it felt extremely easy compared to the workout on monday. i liked the spikes
