Comments:
Warm up felt pretty good. New course from last year. Not too bad considering all the rain we got. Warm up felt pretty good. Start was okay. Got cut off a bit with the 90 degree turn 100m in. Moved up well right in the first half mile and didn't hesitate. Through the mile in around 5:19. Pushed the hills, and tried not to fall back. Lead pack got away, but still remained in the top 10. 2 mile in 10:57. Last big mile hurt, but once I got to the downhill I felt a lot better than expected and realized I was almost finished. Started to drop the hammer, but wish I would have gone little bit earlier or tried to run with the lead group. Oh well not a bad race. Finished 7th. Team was 2nd
