Didnt really get too good of a warmup in. 1st mile was the main problem of the race, got out sorta fast but in the back part of the course there was just too many people, kept having to run around them, elbowing, dodging them, etc. wasted alot of time and energy. Went through in 5:54, surged about half mile later, went through 2 miles in 12:17. No es bueno. The hill in the trail part really knocked me out, fuck. Quite pissed that I didnt break 19, 2 fucking seconds away. Shoulda got out faster...
