I sort of hung to the back of the front group for the whole workout, feeling like we were running really fast, but recovering easily in the 3 minutes between intervals. My lungs were burning and my knee was sore, not sore enough to do anything besides ice but enough that I am paying attention. I felt mentally tired from a long week last week and knowing I have another long week ahead. I had a little of the 'sick' fast interval feeling. We did an 8x1000 workout last year in which I ran faster times, but it was on the track. In short, I more or less just did these without putting an exclamation on it.
