mellow work-out on the cc trail

Exercise Type: Run

Weather: 50s and muggy -- cold!

Comments:
work-out was fine. wasn't too out of shape from staying in bed sick for several days. since i hadn't run since last wednesday, my lungs felt pretty tight and hurt by the end of the run...sucking so much air in really gave my lungs a work-out (and the cold air didn't help). on the bright side, i'm finally not sick!
the work-out:
1 mile at 6:29
half mile recovery
800 at 3:01
quarter mile recovery
400 at about 82 (i think)

so a fairly fast pace. what the work-out was supposed to be i think - didn't tire me out too much, but still a work-out.
i am very nervous about tomorrow. I'm supposed to run at the Potomac meet tomorrow...i guess i'll just have to stifle my nerves at get on with it...and somehow manage to get through the whole day tomorrow without going crazy? i'm so anxious right now, but i think sleeping won't be too much trouble - i'll just take out my i-pod and listen to some rock...some stupid music that just drowns everything out so you don't have to think
