I'm torn about my race. I PRed by 26 seconds but had so much juice left in my legs. There are several things I want to address. There was the obvious problem with the woodchips, which is actually encouraging for next race when I won't have to deal with that. But additionally, I cramped up briefly in my belly and that spooked me for a bit. Luckily I kept my cool and the cramp passed; that's also encouraging. Finally, my allergies were really bad today and that affected my breathing. I've been noticing it in workouts too so I think I'm gonna go to the health center and see if I can get some recommendations. To conclude, all of these problems are manageable for the future. I'm tentatively encouraged by the results today, if not completely satisfied. Bring on conferences!
