The 22 mile long "long run"

Weather: perfect--low 40s

Comments:
Route: loop from home; leesville to enterprise to 221 to waterlick to leesville and some extra miles in neighborhood. Felt about as good as could be expected. Took a couple miles to settle into a rhythm. Had to hold back throughout to keep things at about 9:30. Was glad as I had a bit left in the tank at the end. Gel at 1:00, 1:50, and 2:40. Drank about 70oz water 10oz Gatorade. Refilled bottles at gas station at mile 17 (couple minutes time not included). Shoes felt great, no blisters or other problems with new running socks. Overall, could not have hoped for more in a final long training run.
