Soberlook up North Park around upper lake and back (with Rodney), up Chestnut Hills to North Park to Lee to Fairmount back (alone)-
I ran with Rodney for the first time in quite a while. We talked about football, running, and Baja. I made a bathroom stop after the section with Rodney because my stomach was acting up and continued alone. I enjoyed being alone at night in the cold air. I mulled over the past and future of how I have handled all things running and have decided that any bitterness I may have is on me. So now, track season begins. After not specifically setting any goals for this season (thus I am officially 0 for 0), I have a few for track this time, a reason to run.
1. PR in both the 5k and 10k
2. Score a point in the Carnegie-Mellon Duel
3. Score a point at Outdoor UAAs
4. Stop being a selfish prick.
5. Give myself a finish I can actually be proud of when I walk off that track with my head held high (for once!).
