Woke up early to drive down to DIII XC Nationals in Waverly, IA, we arrived a little over an hour before the men's race, so I decided to go for a run instead of counting my cheering sprints, must have turned some heads because I was wearing BRs while everyone else was in warm-ups, jogged the men's course, seems fairly fast, I split a couple of sub-7 minute miles, after a quick leak, I jogged out to the river and back through campus, saw the girl's van and finished up my run in time to watch the men's race, really wish we could have been in it, found Coach Barnes and wished the best of luck to the girls team, ran around with Barnes cheering the girls onto their 18th place finish and Justine to her 11th place finish, according to Lanese, if we had made it to Nationals, our team would have been Top 20, I gave us Top 25, oh well, Albion got 31st. On a side note, I pulled another Cromer, I think it was the sprinting around in sweatpants with my shirts tucked in. Hope it doesn't happen again.
