First mile workout

Weather: Veale track

Warm up and cool down on the indoor track. With Austin, Nate Smith, and Friar John. Felt decent doing this. Its just a lot diferent from the workouts I have been doing. Just like the 1000 its a different kind of tired. Its kind of ironic because I was feeling the exact opposite when I started running 5k's. Anyways I'm happy with where I'm at at the moment. But I definitly have work to do to get to where I need to be in Feburary
Workout Format:
800 in 2:20, 4min rest, 4x400 in 65 with 90 sec, 4min rest, 800 in 2:20
Splits: 2:17, 65.02, 65.64, 64.15, 62.58, 2:15
Need to be more even. Especially in the 800's. I was pretty good on the quarters before I started picking it up. I negative split the last one which is the eventual goal. Thanks to Austin for pacing the second one. I can't go out balls to the wall everytime. I need to just control out and then drop the hammer at the end. That said I felt pretty in control until the last 2 indoor laps of the final 8.
