3 x mile w/ 2 min recovery

Comments:
i decided to give sockless running yet another try, and somehow figured a track workout was a good time to experiment:

3 x mile repeats with 2 min recovery.
5:29.75, 5:38.58, 5:40.58 (5:36.3 avg)

turns out, in addition to the surprisingly fast splits, both feet finished intact; though the pads on both of my second toes feel blistered, neither are.

a group of hispanic high school guys standing just off the track decided to give me a hard time each time i passed them; obviously an insecure attempt to get their girlfriends attention, who were getting an eyeful of my sweaty junk each lap. as groups of weak dumb asses often do, they began to feed off each other, and by the end of my warm up, were hopping onto the track as i ran by them.
three laps into my first repeat, i'd had all i could stand. coming out of the last turn, i made eye contact with the biggest (and dumbest) looking one of them and blew him a kiss mid stride as i sprinted by.
i didn't hear much from them after that.
