Weather: Low 30s and windy

Really painful. In the midst of a cold snap and I am struggling to try and get a long run in. Mornings are out at temps are in the 20s. Went for this afternoon, but had a strong biting wind in my face the whole way (single direction run and drive home). Wind chill must have been in the teens. This is a hilly route anyway so with a headwind it was really hard work. With the wind, I stopped to walk 10 minutes up a hill at mile 9 which added a lot of time. Was hoping for 15 or so, but didn't have the strength to do much at the end. Was cramping on last hills just like marathon. Took two Gels at 4 and 8 miles. Drank 40&8. Some stiffness in right ankle with it striking higher on the road for most of the way. Will get in miles the best I can this week and try to figure things out for the weekend long one.
