Old West End Run

December 17, 2010 (Morning)

Exercise Type: Run

Weather: 25 Lightly Snowing

Comments:
Home, Fitness Trail, OVH, down Columbus to Water to Shelby to Tiffin Ave to Monroe to Edgewater and back-

I was trying to think of other places I could run in the snow and my Mom suggested heading out to the old west end of town, where I've never run before. It was a nice change from my normal routes and generally enjoyable. Much of the run was by old factories and brownfields. The other nice thing was that I had the wind in my face on the way out.

I had originally intended to make this a progression run, but I accidently cleared my watch in the middle somewhere and my legs tightened up too much for that to really happed. I did try to speed up some, but no one will ever know my pace or splits. My ankle is a problem of the past, but I did get a nasty blister.
