Willamette River Path

December 22, 2010 (Morning)

Exercise Type: Run

Comments:
This AM: MORE tightness in the RIGHT achilles. This interested me, since I always find it to be a good thing when ANOTHER thing hurts instead of "the injury".

So at lunch, I got greedy today: tried to do x3 mile repeats. It didn't go terribly, but not great.

Ran 7:30 from work to the path, then stopped for 1min to stretch. Ran another half mile and turned around. Began to feel "tight" in the 2nd mile (like yesterday). Stopped again to stretch 1 min after the 2nd mile, then continued back to work.

The tightness turned to soreness down Coburg, so I stopped to walk after a total of 2.5 mi. ON/off sore the rest of the day = over-doing it.

Lifted after work, staying away from calf raises.
