Exercise Type: Run
Comments:
Started out on a hike up to a cool trail behind Waimea. The first hill was really steep and we walked up it. I started my run up past the reservoir building. There were trespassing signs everywhere, but we kept hiking through. I took a wrong turn and would around the ridge of a mountain, hit a dead end in the forest and turned around, then took the trail to the forest edge, and turned around to head back into town. After sneaking through the facility around the workers (I didnt get caught!) I walked down the hill, and then ran back to the house on the highway. The weather was hot, but the view and the landscape were awesome from the top of the hill. I picked it up on the way back down the highway.
Got back to the house, hips and back, then stretched and iced. No hammies because no one was around.
My IT band was tight this run. My legs felt fine overall, but I could definitely feel some tightness in my knee and upper leg. Hips and back were ok though... I still made it through the run though. Wraps up a decent week. I want to crest over 40 next week for sure, and then hold until I get back. My leg has been super tight, but its nothing I havnt run through, and it got better as I stretched it out.
I honestly have no idea what the mileage was. I had to hike some of this run, so I definitely went further overall.
