Shoulda wore shorts but yet again I forgot. I havent run this route since the beginning of XC season, ran it in 51:12 then, wanted to do it at least under 51. Tendons were hurtin for the 1st 3 miles then they numbed out, so the last 4 I really had to gut it out to still hit my time goal. Honestly didnt think I was gonna make it but pulled off another win. If I had felt okay the 1st 3 miles, probably woulda been around 49 or so considering that they were done at a 7:30ish pace. Either way, very nice to start the new year off with a hard run.
