no matter how much I psyched myself up and told myself I am breaking 15:10, my legs weren't feeling it throughout the day despite multiple leg hangs and loosening up attempts, and it showed. Gun goes off and I slip into 2nd behind Schild and click off straight 36.x's. As soon as I started to feel like shit at 2 miles I should have made a move to the front and started hammering instead of just letting the wheels fall off. At least that way I would have been mentally in the race.
