sunday swim

Exercise Type: Swim

Pool was kinda crowded today. No one was there either... I was kinda lonely. Did 5 min kick, 35 min swim and then 5 min cooldown. On the swimming section, I alternated between one breath and 2 breaths on each lap. It was very tiring, almost as much as underwater laps. Its nice to switch things up a bit. To be honest, I was thinking about the race on Friday the whole time.

Went back upstairs to do rehab stuff. Found Tim in the locker room. He was getting ready to run on the track. I did hips back and some hammies, then stretched and abs. Thea showed up too to do steeple stuff. Since she got the equipment room opened, I went over and finished up my hammies. While chilling over there, more people showed up. By the end of the day I wasnt lonely.

Legs are feeling good. Back is hanging in there too. My foot isnt bad at all anymore. It is sore hanging around, but during exercise its fine. This week is about preparing for a race situation, and continuing that preparation on to the outdoor season.

Another note: Ill fit in Sly hurdle drills twice this week because we are going to have to cut out steeple drills again.
