for a break. I'm exhausted. My knee felt worse this morning after a day of rest than it has anytime this past month. My feet hurt in places that probably aren't good, and it's high time for me to catch up in my academic work as well. I ran my own workout at Veale because I was hoping the long sprinters were doing a workout and I wasn't up for a long run. They weren't so I ran the following with 4minutes rest between reps:
100 hard (13.7 PR)
200 hard (28.9)
300 hard (48.5)
400 negative split (79; 46.6, 33.3)
400 negative split (76; 41.00, 35.7)
200 hard (32.1)

I can't have my mid workout/race all-out speed be a 32 second 200 or I'll just keep getting curb-stomped in races like I have been. Not good.

I don't know if I would have done more after these, but my headache from Friday was back and I wasn't even in the mood for a cooldown. I would have liked to have lifted and done abs, but that wasn't in the cards today. I'm going to take a week off from running and reassess where I am and what I can hope for for the upcoming months.
