Ran the last workout before indoor confrence today. Just some pace stuff a little bit of speed and then some pace changes. Felt really good on the pace quarters. Its ready I'm where I need to be at that pace its just time to bring it out. I feel like I'm putting a lot of stock in this race this weekend. Really if I run under provisional I'll be happy. I just hope I can harness that magic from last year and make something happen. The rest of this workout really was just window dressing.
2x400 at mile pace with 2min rest, 2x200 quick but not all out with 1min rest, 4x100 (get out like a race first 50, "float" 25, balls out 25)
Splits: 62.72 (get out then settle), 63.43 (settle on the pace), 27.39, 27.25, 15.1, 14.99, 15.04, 14.43
Static 1, roll, ibisx40, ice bath (first of the semester)
