Comments:
SO, overall the trip was a great experience. It was a bad week to have gotten sick and only run 20 miles down from 82, and so my race was not there, which was disappointing since I was finally there and wanted to do well. Now though, I need to get things back together this week and get some good running going again. I'm just not logging the rest of my running last week since it was slim so I'm just gonna start a new page with logging this week.
Friday night - awesome run through downtown chicago with chris w., down to the lake and around. pretty awesome.
Saturday - shakeout in the morning around the city. then, not so hot race. looking forward to next week getting things back together with running.
Sunday - 4 in the morning down on Navy Pier (which is pretty sweet) around the ferris wheel...and back through downtown. only got lost for about a minute too! then once at the meet I went out from U of C with Carter and Tim to the lakefront path and turned back early. On the day...I should have had about 11.something.
