Veale up North Park to Lee and back (with Grogan), Little Italy Loop (alone)-
My foot was feeling much better after a lot of icing but not 100%. It didn't really hurt until the last couple miles. Grogan and I talked about racing and finishing. I told him my plans to run a workout next week, start doing workouts after break, run a time trial the week we come back, and get ready for DePauw. After Tuesday, success in running this season seems less and less far-fetched. I feel stronger every day.
Two years ago, I started the track season on fire, running a PR at every opportunity. My body started to break down over the course of a long season and I ended in a horrendous 37:01 10k and by that point I had serious trouble handling a four mile easy run. The turning point of all that was at DePauw. It was a season I started but never finished. This year I am going to start off at DePauw. I am going to finally finish what I started.
