Progression Run to CU and Back

Comments:
Kind of sore from not icing yesterday, and sitting in the car for a long time. I was sluggish getting out the door, but finally went out. Spent most of the morning at the NYS indoor meet, and the standing made my legs tired. Eventually went out for the progression run today because I want to swim tomorrow. Did the regular old to Cornell track and back. I looped around to Weill Hall to make it 7 because the track is closed. Started out at a quick pace. The wind was behind me and it was downhill… in hindsight, this isn’t the best route to do a progression. I was feeling faster when I got down to campus. Then I turned up Tower Rd, and the wind kicked in. It was way tougher the way back, but I don’t think I slowed down too much. The effort was up compared to the way down so im guessing the paces were even.

Back and hip felt fine. Knee was a little tight, but kinda felt like I am working in a good way.

Got back, did hips back hammies while watching college basketball. I am really happy I have the exercise ball. Finished off with Static 2, roll, L7 and abs. Ill ice tonight.
