Tempos on MLK

Back to legit workouts! Lymph node is going down I guess, didnt really feel it running kinda swollen when walking around during the day. Coach is allocating special 3k workouts now I guess. We were slated for 3 x mile tempo then 3 x 400 fast. Nick and I were then only ones doing that workout in the large group that went to MLK.

Warmed up over to the track. Kinda irritated because it was a longer warm up then I needed. Felt tired on it.

Started out the tempos after doing the warm up drills. Felt ok on the first. Was kinda alone. Stayed at a nice pace. Went out at a slower pace on the 2nd. It felt strong though I put on surges, just they werent as fast in reality. The 3rd one was tough. 400 kinda fell off, but finished strong on the last one. splits were off because we started at wrong places on MLK, but they were 70-75 effort.

Jogged back real slow (we were beat) then went down to lift with Nick and David. Kinda what we did a few weeks ago. It felt strong. Cook squat, clean from floor, 2 arm goblet that stuff. Back upstairs to stretch, roll, L7, and Ice for a bit. Did abs all alone :(. Feeling sore at the end of the day and tired. Hips and back felt great, knee was a little tight at the end of the workout but not on the fast stuff. Just keeping it together. Hurdle workout on wed! Chea!
