norwood fartleks!

Warmup to dorset park and drills
ran to norwood, once we hit the grass legs felt pretty tired. picked it up with 4 good long striders. first pickup of 1000 felt good, early on I knew I would have to do the pickups alone, but seeing the other girls ahead was incredible, because they looked SO strong despite the long week of school and whatnot. cooldown around playground. then short pickup around backstop, breathing got weird afterwards, wasnt feeling great but got it under control. Third was on the bike path then turned around once the group came back and up the hill. Fourth was short, hard sprint. cooldown then tempo to chico's, around a mile. definitely felt better than the pickups, maybe the pavement? planks after. good, hard day, and really excited/motivated to train over break now. i'll estimate time!
