Woke up REALLY EARLY (0600) because my watch said 0730, but that was the chrono running! Oops!

Got an early start working out at Anytyme. Did only ten min on the elliptical because of knee discomfort. Cut it after ten, then lifted. Got in a pretty good lift + circuits.

Went shopping afterwards and got quite a bit done with little hassle, including getting a new phone -- my first new one since April 2006.

The knee hurt on/off for the rest of the day. I BTS'd the lateral quad/ITB with ice -- for like nearly a half hour -- but that tissue is SOO TOUGH that it's like I scarcely made a "dent" in it. I'll keep at it, though. It's funny, because I've been foam rolling that GD IT band but apparently that hasn't mattered.

In the mean time, I've gotta get back to wearing the brace. 'Til I can loosen up those lateral structures, it's gonna keep getting yanked to the side.

Thought about skiing today but ran out of time...
