Weather: 70 degrees. sunny. dry
Comments:
Solo run around Hollywood, CA!! Interesting run today. Started with a walk up Highland Ave. to the Hollywood Bowl. Snuck in and stood in the middle of the outdoor amphitheater. Pretty special. ran back down to Hollywood Blvd. and turned left. So many interesting things going on, and tourists everywhere. Turn right on Vine St. I get about 3 blocks away from Hollywood Blvd. and it starts to get sketchy. verrry sketchy. I made to Melrose and took another right. Tried to run in the shade as much as possible. Down Melrose to La Brea and another right turn gets me headed back to Hollywood Blvd. "civilization" starts to reappear about 3 blocks from Hollywood. Right turn on Hollywood and I weave in and out of tourists, past the chinese theater and up Highland back to my hotel. I enjoyed the run because it was so different. Intersections were annoying, but that's part of the game. some seriously smelly people out there. 5 good miles and I'm done.
