Track workout w/ South team

Was going to go to Arreton Rd. this morning but remembered that there is always construction going on during the weekdays so I decided to do the workout that the South guys were doing. Started out by doing a 20 minute warmup. Then after drills, strides etc... we got into it. Did 1100 meters at 4:20 pace. Jogged a lap, then finished off the mile with a 500 at the same pace. After that, we did 10x400 on a two minute cycle. This part was pretty tough. I hit the first one in 62 since we didn't know how many we were doing. Then rest were mostly 65s and the occasional 66. Some were faster as well. Overall, I'm in pretty bad anaerobic shape and I need to start doing pacework as soon as I get back to school.
