My ankle was pretty tender and swollen this morning, so I couldnt really do the mileage planned. This was kinda a bummer. My training has been going so well the past few weeks. I guess I needed to remember that there will be painful setbacks, but we just need to deal with them the smart way and learn from them. I realize how much I care about running now. I dont want to take those risks anymore, whether it be not getting enough sleep from partying to hard, or tweaking something in a pick up game. I would rather be in good shape and running well... I plan to do that from here on out.

Anyways, went to carlton and did a mix of biking, elliptical, and some running. My ankle is definitely swollen and sore, but it felt a lot better than walking around this morning. Ill give it a few more days to settle down. I biked for 20 min, ellipticalled for 10 min, then ran a mile (out on overlook and back). I sweated a lot too. It was hot out today.

I realize I didnt hit my goal mileage, and may not be able to next week. I still plan to put in the effort of that mileage, and sub in with xtraining, so it should be close to 45. I am still going to stick with the plan, as I should.

Stretched, hips, a lil back, L7 and abs while watching the Harlem Globetrotters on TV. Did you know that they just invented the 4 pt shot? It was crazy.
