shorter swim

Got into the pool right on time. It was refreshing. My ankle wasnt feeling great (it actually is way better walking and running...) so I cut it a little shorter than usual. Did 10 swim, 10 pull, 5 kick, 10 pull. The pulls I tried to do a lot of underwater breath holding. Felt good.

Got out and went downstairs. I did a lot more lifting today. Upped reps on leg curls, ab and adductors. Also got in dumbell pushups, hammy ball leg curls, and some band work. I had to pee real bad so I went to the upstairs locker room and then stretched on the track. Coach Rubin was coaching a high jumper I didnt recognize (High schoo 1 ?) Anyways we chatted, then I did stretch, hips, L7 and abs. Feeling good there. Legs feel good. Ankle is still a little unstable, but the swelling is way down. Brace is helping with stability. Does running more damage it more, or is the instability feeling a feeling of recovery? Whatever it is, I am sticking to the plan, and meeting the challenges head on.
