Exercise Type: Run
Comments:
Trying to be careful, so I didnt want to run too much on my ankle. It feels better. Really it only hurt when I rolled it. The swelling has gone down too, but it feels unstable... Headed out alone to the shoe tree. Ran down to Carlton each time. First to drop off my shirt, second to bike and get my shirt. Frustrated because Legs felt good. I keep saying this to my self. Ive been through a whole lot of shit before, so I ought to be able to withstand some more. Running is all about reacting to what is placing infront of you... Started out slow, but instinctively picked it up in the middle. Nice and sunny out too :).
After biking at Carlton, ran back to the house, stretch, L7 and planks on the lawn. Iced with the Ice Cups too. Then upstairs to roll.
I probably wont be able to do the full long run tomorrow. Means that this week wont be 60. That doesnt mean that I wont do the things that need to be done to reach 60 effort. My plan is to do double the miles I am away from 60 on the bike. This season/year is all about knowing you are ready. Are you willing to put in that time to be ready to go?
This was a little more than 5, so I bet the overall pace was around 7:30.
