Exercise Type: Run
Comments:
Got home in the afternoon. I didnt eat much while traveling, so I decided to eat dinner before heading out to run. Today was a long day, but I was still unsure I could do 15, so I kinda just made up routes, finishing with a bike. Drove down to the Cornell Track with Max, because he wanted to run. Hes getting ready for cross. We ran together for the first few miles. He was hurting though... its amazing that we can run so long without loosing our breath. So we went from the track up to the plantations, did a salad bowl and came out on Forest Home. I split off from there, went across the bridge into Forest Home, up the steep trail to Warren, down Warren to Handshaw, past Community Corners, down Tripphammer to Thurston and campus, up Tower rd and then home the usual way. This run was good because we started out slow, but I picked it up a lot on the way home. I was under 7 for that part, because we were over 8 in the beginning lol. Weather was good because it had just rained. There was fog forming on Dodge rd which was really cool to run through (Pun intended). Ankle was uneasy in the beginning, but felt pretty good at the end. Still got to strengthen. Its a little tender totouch, but mobility feels ok.
Got back home, got a quick swig of vitamin water, then down to bike.
Stretch, L7 and roll afterward while watching Pawn Stars on Netflix. It was late and I was pretty tired from today, so I didnt do hips and stuff.
Stopped for a bathroom break twice, in the same spot by the horses, on each lap through the plantations. Kinda funny
This didnt burn me out as much as the 15 miler last week did. My legs felt good and strong today. This is probably good though. Also, this was a little longer than 10, and there are a ton more hills than Cleveland. Haha they felt good though. Id like to do a tony's run with an add on for my long next week :).
