Weather: Pretty cool and overcast
Comments:
Ran the long hill at the Medow for what was supposed to be a strength hill session. I was very happy with the effort level of this workout. My legs and arms were heavy and tired the last several hill repititions but I never felt out of control or all out which was good.
WU around the medow and trails scoping out the hill course. 8 drills selected by Peter
8xapprox 1000 meter hill repeat (I think like 5.5ish miles total)
About tempo effort going up (felt like my effort was more around where it was the first tempo which was fine, she said this is the harder workout) on the way down a 100m strider, basically sprint after each assention.
Adventure time cool down with Peter and David
Hip hurt a bit today espically when acclerating into the strider portion of the down hill. It wasn't the terrain with it; it was the act of acclerating becasue it went away after I got to full speed. Running on the grass definitly made the running much harder. Hopefully saving the legs is good. It was a little uneaven in places but nothing really special
