Watching the pace

September 13, 2011 (Night)

Exercise Type: Run

Weather: A little humid but maybe high 60's

Comments:
Felt really good. I did big Joe's mile around Van Horne, reversing direction each time I reached a mile. There was some flag football going on but there was little interference received on my end. Focused on form and on not running too fast, after yesterday's talk about knowing when to run hard. I want to talk with Coach and Jess though, I feel ready for a move upward in mileage. Maybe next week. Anyway, no injury-related pain whatsoever, good smooth aerobic run. HR from 30-45 after was 140bpm.

RHR:50ish
Sleep:8hrs
Abs: 20x each of: high, inverse, jackknife, back hyper, gymnastic, jackknife, side, between-leg reach, jackknife, prone leg lifts, hip raises, jackknife
(I forgot what exactly was in the bear but I know there's four sets of jackknives so I stuck in most of the other pillar exercises I could remember.)

Hips: 30each x spreads, 30each x cycles
PT: Extensor lifts x 30each
30 pushups
