Forrest Hills Hills

Comments:
After much anticipation found out we were going to Forrest Hills for out hill workout today. We did loops by the back hill which I'd only ever done once before, before conference last year.

I'm very happy with how this workout went. I wasn't feeling so hot after lunch and was kinda tired before and during the warmup through east Cleveland. I felt during the workout that I ran hard but controlled, just like last week. I pushed hard up the hills but didn't over work. I felt like I got a little complacent on the 5th repeat but other than that I'm happy with my effort. I kinda with I'd have timed each interval in hindsight but its not a big deal. Coach seemed happy with how things went.

WU: 2.5 through East Cleveland to Forrest Hills, misc drills

6xapprox 1200m loops with the 200ish up hill culminating in the steep climb and the rest flat. Quarter jog recovery back down the hill so the total loop was about a mile. Pretty sure I was between 4:10 and 4 flat for all the intervals even though I didn't time any except the first (4:10)

CD back from Forrest Hills this time through Mayfield

Static 3, Roll, Eagle x20, hips, pushups, pullups and dips, ice bath x10min (I think this is the first ice bath where I've done it both workout days)
