Ran Hills at Forest Hills park since the Meadow is torn up and apparently the Coast Guard park isn't much better. We did 6 x 1 mile loop, with the last quarter as recovery. We warmed up from the Mayfield entrance of the park and ran for another three minutes once we got to the top of the hill. We continued to the bottom and drilled before starting the workout. Mentally I was not there for the first three. During the third I realized I was far more comfortable at certain points than I should have been. I pushed it on 4-6 which were faster than 1-3. A big shout to Jonn-E here for getting me going as I was about to start my sixth interval. He said, "Joe, when you get to the top of the hill, I want you to beast it all the way in. Keep the fire!". I did and finished on a good note. Cooldown was another mile loop, much easier. I postponed the lift because I was wiped afterwards.

Sleep: 5 hrs. (Might have had something to do with both the physical and mental aspects of my running today)
