Trails and toe ice

September 15, 2011 (Morning)

Exercise Type: Run

Weather: Almost chilly

Comments:
Perfect running weather. It was a little chilly as we were starting out but invigorating nonetheless. Ran with Drew and Double D on the Lee loop. we hit the trails between Roxboro and Coventry because we assumed the normal path would be nasty. Kept a decent pace with very little effort, felt great except for my big toe for the entire run. I stretched for a while, got a Gatorade and did pick 8 abs with Double D and Anna. Went and saw Jess afterwards and she said that there's not to much you can do for a toe except ice. I lifted (made my right knee tender- damn it!) and then iced both my toe and my knee for 10 minutes apiece. Icing your toes is a very unpleasant experience.
