I was feeling awful this morning so after class I took a four hour nap before doing anything.

Saw Brett when I got to Veale; it was great seeing him and apparently he's decided he wants to start running more (he was over 20 miles in the last 7 days). Anyway, was pumped he was there so I did abs with him and Blaire before the run (pick 8 x 40 first two were only 30 though).

Ran the first mile and a half or so with Alaska Pete and the rest by myself. Started doing strides when he did (lap 7 of 14) and just strided down the long straights. Felt good and just kept thinking about the mile and how I should be able to move at the end of the race. Tried to work on form. Total 16 x 100 meter strides. Very muddy which slowed me down a bit but made the field soft and the run fun.
