Tempo at AU!

Exercise Type: Run

Comments:
Warmup to AU, 2 laps steady 2 mile tempo, 2 lap cooldown. Was wondering how'd I'd fare coming into this considering the week of nothing before. Aim was slower than race pace, but ended up going a bit faster than "slower than race pace". It felt really controlled though, and at times I got a bit frustrated with the slowness of it (and was told to slow down etc), because I really wanted to go. Felt like I'm like 400 lbs and heavy legs but still was holding back a lot so I guess the week didnt do too much damage. Definitely really excited to get back!!
