Exercise Type: Run
Comments:
Had practice today to finish up the tough week. We were going to go at 4:00, but it basically got pushed back to 4:45... Taped up the ankle to be safe. I dont like it because it made my lower legs feel constricted again overall. Also, forgot to double this morning (completely skipped my mind) so I wasnt as loose. Also, means I need to double on whatever day I dont long run. I kinda want to make it an easy night run...
Nice weather out, we all warmup up up NP to the first lake, were we got those drills going. THe workout was 1:00, 30, 30, 1,4,1,4,1,4,1,4,1, 30,30,30,30,30,30 so thats 6 30s, 6 1s, and 4 4s. There was equal rest for the 30s and 1s and 2 min recovery for the 4s. Ended up with J Frey, John E and Aaron pretty soon, and we all stuck together the whole time very well. I felt ok on someparts, but mostly sluggish on the concrete. Looped all the way out to Warrensville and came back Shaker. It was a little more than 7. It was real nice weather though, legs just felt tired. Still worked hard though, the races will be a lot faster.
Got back to Veale, and we all went straight to stretch, roll, L7 and abs. Real standard. Iced ankle after, which felt ok, but was kinda sore at a few points. No dinner at Fribs, so we did Pizza and Grape drink at the house.
